About the Fir Tree

Fir trees belong to the Abies family and are admired for their year-round greenery, elegant conical form and classic woodland character. They bring structure, shelter and beauty in every season, making them a popular choice for long-term planting.

We grow and plant a variety of fir trees. Species found in the UK landscape and cultivation can include Nordmann Fir (Abies nordmanniana), Noble Fir (Abies procera), Fraser Fir (Abies fraseri), Silver Fir (Abies alba), Grand Fir (Abies grandis), Korean Fir (Abies koreana) and other suitable fir species.

Please note: We cannot guarantee one specific fir variety. The exact fir planted will depend on availability, planting location and what is most suitable for the area at the time. However, a genuine fir tree will be planted for your order.

If you are looking to buy a Fir Tree as a gift, it is a wonderful choice for someone who loves evergreen trees, woodland beauty and a living gift that lasts for generations.

I was surprised to see my fir tree on an island. Andy had built an ingenious raft which was an able to transport me across to actually see the fir tree and have my photo taken with it. I 100% recommend people visit to see their trees – thank you Andy and Anja – for the cuppa also 🙏
